Can I register other members in my Chapter/Council?

To register someone else for the conference, you must be the Head of your Chapter or Council.

After creating your own portal account and confirming your own contact information, you will have the option to register others.

How many people from each chapter/council can attend?

Each membership group, which includes Chapters & Councils, will receive 4 membership seats at the Annual General Assembly (AGA).

Of these 4 seats, 1 seat must be occupied by a Regular Member who is a youth (Indigenous women, resident of Ontario, between the ages of 18 & 29).  To register any delegates for the AGA, Chapters & Councils must be members in good standing.

Do virtual (via Zoom) delegates count towards the total seats per Chapter/Council?

All delegates attending the conference, whether online via Zoom or in person, count towards these totals

Can I choose my Workshop Sessions?

We will be emailing delegates to ask their workshop preferences, and will use these wherever possible. However, due to restrictions on the number of people allowed in each physical breakout room, in-person attendees may be moved to a different Workshop session due to space restrictions.

Where is the conference being held?

The ONWA's 55th AGA & Leadership Conference is being held at the Best Western Nor'Wester in Thunder Bay, Ontario

Is travel covered?

For approved in-person delegates, travel arrangements will be made by ONWA on their behalf using the most cost-effective options.

ONWA Does not cover travel for observers.
